We provide hostel facility for girl students under the strict administration of
Rev. Sisters. Hostel advisory board, with Principal as its Chairman, Monitor the
regular activities of the hostel.
In view of the general welfare of the staff student community of our college, we
have started a co-operative society in the campus. The general administration of
this society is done by an enthusiastic group comprising of teaching, non-teaching
& student representatives. The general body of the society includes A class
(members on the staff) and B class (Students) share holders. The process of getting
the affiliation from the state authorities is in progress for which a promoting
committee consisting of 10 representatives is in charge. The main focus of the society
is in the following aspects.
1.To include a sense of co-operative and self reliance.
2. To start investment schemes which can be utilized for extending financial assistance
to the members in need.
3. To help the members in getting good quality educational materials at a reduced
rate.
Currently we have three buses from the campus. One make the flight between Kothamangalam
and college campus, the second between vytilla and college campus and the third
between valakom and college campus.
The nss unit of the college was started in the academic year 1996.It is intended
to arouse social consciousness of student community by training them to be useful
to the society, making them different and more creative .The N.S.S aims at this
through community service.
Membership in N.S.S is voluntary and is strictly on selective basis.Those who complete
240 hours of work in 2 years are entitled to a certificate issued by the University
and it will be treated as an additional qualification in recruitments to public
service .Besides, they are eligible to get weightage of marks at the time of admission
to higher studies.In the beginning itself ,this unit was selected as one of the
best five units of M.G University.
NRC
Network Resource Centre consists of about twenty terminals with broadband connectivity.
NRC is a UGC funded facility housing the lastest machines and aminities.NRC is open
to all the students during the college working hours for references and net browsing.
Sports and games
The college provides facilities for various sports and games and encourages participation
at various levels under the guidance of the Physical Education Department.

‘VINGS’ is an integral part of our curriculum .Its aim is to carve out a bright
career and to explore possibilities for placement. With this in mind, many programmes
are arranged under the banner of ‘Vings’.It is designed to meet the requirements
of a career guidance cell as envisaged by the University.
Parent –Teacher Association
All teachers and parents are members of this association.It renders every possible
help to the management,staff and students for the smooth functioning of the college.It
functions under the following guidelines of the college.It functions under the following
guidelines to ensure a wholesome campus life.
To foster and promote good relationship among the members of the teaching faculty,students
and parents.
To create in its members a keen interest for the smooth working and the progress
of the college and for maintaing good discipline and high academic standards.
To institute Scholarships,Prizes,Awards etc. for the benefit of students.
To provide essential amenities for the effective functioning of the college community.
To take up novel ventures for the effective functioning of the college.
College Choir
The Choir is formed with a group of students who are having genuine interest in
music.The College Choir organizes different functions in the campus.In addition
to the stage performances,the Choir is interested in participating and organizing
various competitions.The members of the college Choir take keen interest in the
conduct of the morning prayer of the college.The Choir will meet every month to
evaluate the activities and also for partice.The Choir is planning to organize special
coaching session for students interested in playing different musical instruments.
College Canteen
College extends canteen facility to the students and staff. The items are served
at a subsidised rate to the staff and students.A canteen committe,appointed by the
Principal, monitors the regular activities of the canteen.
N.C.C
The N.C.C units in the college were started in the academic year 2004 under the
able guidance of Prof.Capt. A.P Eldo. Lieutenant Suhan P.K is the present N.C.C
Officer. The N.C.C helps its cadets to develop character,discipline,leadership and
a secular outlook in life. It provides suitable environment to the youth and motivates
them to take up a career in the Armed Forces.

Placement Cell
Students are well assisted by the college Placement Cell in finding a job after
the course of the study. Most of the students are able to find placement by the
end of final semester.Our alumnus are placed in frontline firms like Wipro, Infosys,
Cognizant, TCS etc.
